Our Part 21J Design Team have successfully completed their first two UK CAA STC’s post the UK’s withdrawal from the EU / EASA.
Project Summary
Gama has led the way on this high-profile government contract, being the first to carry out testing on the new National Police Air Service P.68R and Scottish Air Ambulance MBB-BK117 D-2 aircraft.
The STC’s enable the use of 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices onboard the aircraft throughout all stages of flight.
The testing and STC’s play a crucial part in helping to deliver the new Emergency Services Network (ESN) which will soon replace TETRA.
